De Gouden Route van Japan

Ontdek de vele kanten van Japan tijdens de 16-daagse groepsreis "De Gouden Route van Japan", geleid door Japankundige André Mulder. Deze unieke reis voert je langs iconische en verrassende bestemmingen. Aan de hand van indrukwekkende sites, bezienswaardigheden en musea leer je over de Japanse geschiedenis en cultuur, van vroege Shinto-tradities tot het moderne leven in metropolen als Tokio en Osaka. Het programma biedt een balans tussen modern en traditioneel Japan, inclusief de prachtige natuur, met ruimte voor eigen verkenning of optionele excursies. We starten de reis in Tokio met een bezoek aan de serene Meiji Jingu-schrijn en de levendige wijken Harajuku en Shibuya. In Asakusa nemen we deel aan een sushi-workshop en bezoeken we de Senso-ji tempel en het Hokusai Museum. In Fuji-Hakone verblijven we in een traditioneel onsen-hotel vlakbij Mount Fuji. Daarna bezoeken we het Himeji-kasteel, het Hiroshima Vredespark en Miyajima eiland. In Kioto verkennen we o.a. het Gouden Paviljoen, het Filosofenpad, de Fushimi Inari schrijn en het Arashiyama bamboebos. We eindigen in Osaka, waar we het bruisende stadsleven ervaren.
